Jesse James 'itinerary' in MN

Jesse James' raid of Northfield, Rice county, MN in 1876 is the subject of a fascinating book by John Koblas. On page 45 he mentions the 'Johnson House' (a hotel?) in Jaynesville in which the gang stayed prior to the robbery. There is a family rumor that this same gang, stayed in a boarding house ran by a recently arrived Swedish ancestor, Marie Lomell. Her first husband was Peter Lomell who died in 1882, and she later married Martin Johnson. I don't know if this would be the same hotel/boarding house or not, but if someone knows a bit of history about the Johnson House and/or Marie Lomell Johnson's involvement in housing this gang, I would appreciate hearing from you.
