1860 Location of Beaver Creek Settlement

In the 1860 Federal census for Renville county, there were families enumerated in settlements identified as Beaver River [Beaver Creek?], Orkniesville, and Birch Coolie. I need help to determine where these settlements were relative to each other and to present-day landmarks [eg.; Minnesota River, Ferry to Lower Sioux Agency, Beaver Creek, Birch Cooley Creek, Beaver Falls, Morton, etc.]. Thanks in advance for any information.
