Back in the cences of the 1800's the address/location was the township of the resedince so the could have lived any where in Birch Coolie township. there was a village of birch coolie it was along the birch coolie creek about 2 miles up stream from what is now HWY 19 there was a flour mill and some other buildings there but when the RR came through it took the easier pathe and put a depot at Morton.
