SYLVESTER Family Reunion - Plainvew, Minnesota
Posted by: William Jewell (ID *****5184) Date: June 11, 2002 at 13:51:10
  of 132

In 1855-56, three SYLVESTER brothers moved from WI into the new state of Minnesota, and bought land in the SE corner of Plainview Twp, Wabasha Co, MN. They were:
George Washington SYLVESTER (1828-1876) m. Matilda A. COOK
Charles Carroll SYLVESTER (1830-1908) m. Charlotte C. BURNS
Caleb Barker SYLVESTER, Jr. (1832-1899) m. Elizabeth CHENOWITH
Descendants of these pioneers are organizing a first-ever SYLVESTER Family Reunion in the Village of Plainview, Wabasha Co, MN during August 16-18, 2002. We would like to contact and include others who believe that they are also descendants of these SYLVESTERs. This notice is being posted to counties where family members are known to have lived prior to 1920.
