Is anyone working on family of Edward Cross who died in Nobles Co., MN? He was born in Fairfield Co., Ohio to Edward Cross and Margaret Blue. His father died and his mother remarried to William Scott and they're there on the 1850 census of Fairfield Co.,OH.
Edward Cross jr. married in 1852 to Sarah Eversole and moved first to Logan Co., IL, then to Tazewell Co., IL. After 1880 they moved to Nobles Co., MN and are still living on the 1900 census. Sarah shows she's born 9 children, 5 are living.
Children from census:
Effie J., Mary A., James, William B., Margaret, Clara E., Emanuel, Ernest Grant.
Edward is listed on the death index for Minnesota as dying in 1917 in Nobles Co. I'm wondering if anyone has a copy of his death certificate? Thanks.
