“Annual Class Play - The senior class at the high school has announced the cast for “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” which class play they will present on May 10th. Tom Sawyer has been a beloved character of fiction for many years and the account of his escapades in this form should prove very entertaining. In the cast are June Fail, Dolores Erlandson, Carol Lloyd, Florence Toussaint, Virginia Coffitt, Bonita Lynch, Arthur Mathias, Louis Miller, Paul Koopman, Eddie Schroeder, Joseph Getzel, Leon Bothwell, Keith Groskreutz, Herman Danneman and Harold Wulff. Stage managers are John Cullen and Ellsworth Johnson, and Clarice Swanson is business manager. Other committees are to be named as work on the production proceeds.” (This article came from a relative’s scrapbook. The name and date of the paper are unknow.)
