Flora's 1900 census listing indicates that she had 10 children, rather than the 13 I stated in my previous post. It is suspected that the Joseph Monroe and wife Flora in Winnebago County, Illinois in the 1860 census is this same couple. In that home are the following children, most of them born in New York:

Samuel - 16, NY
Benjamin - 13, NY
Edwin A. - 10, NY
George W. - 7, NY
Annora - 2, IL
