My book- History of Mower County from 1911 lists Swend Dahle who was born in Hardanger Norway in 1864 the child of Knute Olson Dahle and Anna T Holven Dahle. It says that Swend came to America with his brother Knute. Swend married an Edna Simpson and their children were Ella, Harold and Pearl. Another listing is for a N.K. Dahle who appears to be Knute's son. He was bank president in Brownsdale and children were Clarence, Chester and Gertrude. The Knute listed in my book is listed as having O as a middle initial. Does this jibe with any of your info? The listings in my book have more information on these people as well if you're interested.
