Albert Swift b. 1830 NY, served in NY Dragoons civil war. Located in Brownsdale, Mower Co in 1874. He was pensioned in 1885 and his wife applied for widows benefits in Jan 1918. He must have died late 1917 or early Jan 1918. He is mentioned in the History of Mower Co, and appears to have been prominent enough to warrant a write up and obit. Hoping to locate descendents and his siblings to further trace ancestry of this Swift family.
