I found the following census info on the LACROSS and MILLER families. While I only found your Emma MILLER listed in the 1900 census, I believe this could be the family you are searching for:

MILLER, Adam, Head. Born Feb 1860, age 40, married 12 yrs. Born Wisconsin, both parents born Germany, occupation Liquor dealer.
MILLER, Mary, wife. Born July 1971, age 28, married 12 yrs. Has had 6 children, of which 6 are living. Born Michigan, both parents born Canada.
MILLER, Emma, daughter. Born May 1889, age 11, single. Born Michigan, father born Wisconsin, mother born Michigan.
MILLER, Amanda, daughter. Born Aug 1890, age 9, single. Birth info same as Emma.
MILLER, Eva, daughter. Born March 1892, age 8, single. Birth info same as above.
MILLER, Edna, daughter. Born Aug(looks like) 1893, age 6, single. Birth info same as above

Based on the info of Emma MILLER and her mother Mary MILLER above, in the 1880 Census at www.familysearch.org, if you go there and do a search on Mary LACROSS, you will find only one Mary LACROSS born in Michigan, birth year 1871., Living with her parents and siblings in Michigan, Menominee County. Parents listed are father Leonore LACROSS and mother Secill LACROSS. Both were listed as born in Canada .You can go to the site and review the entire family listed.
