Hi: We are searching for a Lizzy/Lizzie Cornett/Dornett, found in 1860 census, 2 Ward, Minneapolis, Hennepin, MN, in J. D. GRAY household, age 19, b. ME. The Gray's, Mother Elizabeth (Kennedy) GRAY (1802-1867), widow of Dr. Peter Tufts GRAY (1790-1839), with sons John D., Thomas and Oliver C. (1831-1905) moved to Minneapolis from Lincoln/Knox County ME about 1856, Oliver was superintendent of schools for a couple years, the other two ended as druggist, John D. removing to CA with son Clarence b. 1866, after 1870 census, and is single on 1880 census in a household with son Clarence. in San Francisco. Lizzie is mentioned in a 1983 published diary on Sept 1863 by Oliver's wife Virginia Lafayette (Davis) GRAY (1834-1886), b.ME, living in Princeton, Dallas County, AR. Could be (?) a sister to the boys, if not, she's someone very, very special to the GRAY family and we are dying to know. Your help would be appreciated.
