The Minnesota Historical Society's on-line death certificate index at www.mnhs.org, lists the following:

Albert O. SAVOR Born 10/23/1882
birthplace Minnesota
Mother's maiden name Beret
Date of death 1/23/1973
County of Death, St. Louis

If you have not had a chance to review this death certificate, you can order a copy on-line for a fee, or have a volunteer do a look-up for you at www.raogk.org (random acts of genealogy kindness)

The death cerificate most probably would have his parents names and possible # of years in that county.
