In Reply to: Albert Savor (1883-1973) and Geraldine Newman (1890-1972) of Duluth, MN by Shane D. Schneider of 15574

The 1930 census in Saint Louis Deluth,Minnesota shows Louis,Malcom, and John Savor are step children to Arthur W.Newman.His wife is Geraldine so her maiden name wasn.t Newman when Albert Savor married her.The 1920 census shows albert savor married to rose and living in saint louis county minnesota, the town of great scott. They have five sons.Louis,Montcalm,Vernie,John, and Byron.I would have to think this is the right albert because there is only one other albert savor in the country and he is in louisiana. In 1930 albert savor is a roomer in douglas, superior, wisconsin. It says he was born in minnesota as does the 1920 census.1920 says he is a steam engineer, and 1930 in wisconsin says engineer for railway co.His social security death index shows he passed away in minnesota but he got his social security card in wisconsin so I believe he is the same person. The california death index shows a vernon savor, born 1908,died 1961,and his mother's maiden name is brock. If you would like me to forward these census images and determine if this is the family, let me know.Dennis
