Hello John! I just received your message - thank you so much for taking the time to write! Can you give my any more info about Charles Teich? My Grandfather, Herman Teich and his mother, Wilhelmina, brother Charles, and sister came from Prussia in 1889 - according to family stories, they worked for an "Uncle" in the Watertown/Reesville area who had paid for their passage to the US. They later settled in Pine City, MN. They also had a brother August who came about 1892 with his wife Bertha - they all settled in Pine City at that time. There was also another brother, Fredrick, who I have been unable to find - some say he went back to Prussia, some say he settled elsewhere in the US - I just can't find him or why he never kept in contact with the rest of the family. He is mentioned in my Great Grandmother Wilhelmina's obituary in 1918. Well, I am sure this is more of my family history than you bargained for - are you related in any way to Charles Teich?
