Howard and Short Family in the Chatfield Area
Posted by: Kim Howard (ID *****6652) Date: December 12, 2012 at 05:40:16

I have posted before and also tried doing some research myself. Just can't get anywhere with this family line.
I have a Joseph Howard born ? (between 1823-1833 I was told that he doesn't have a birth on him tombstone) in Ireland and died 1890. I do seem to have a match on civil war records. His wife is Johannah Short born 1830 in Ireland and died Oct. 8, 1878. Someone did let me know that they were buried in the Calvary Catholic Cemetary. They did live in the Chatfield area. Childrens names were Margaret, Edward, Mary, John, and Thomas.
If anyone has any idea or could help with trying to further information about these two and continuing with their line, I would appreciate it.
I am also taking a look at a possibility that a Michael and Edward Howard who lived in the Chatfield area could be brothers or a father. But can't find anything really but names for these men and some possible dates.
