My gggrandmother, Emeline Pickett married Daniel Douglass. She was born in NY (western NY, I think) about 1812. Her parents were born in Connecticut.
Emeline and Daniel Douglass moved to Michigan, perhaps near Albion. They had son Henry H Douglass in 1834. They lived in Indiana where Henry Douglass married Mary Throckmorton in about 1853. They had daughter, Florence, about 1860 or 1861 in Indiana and moved to Minnesota later in the 1860's. They lived in Dodge County. They may have lived in Olmsted for a while.

Emeline Pickett Douglass, a widow was living in Minnesota with son Arrington Douglass in the 1870's.

Do any of these people strike a bell?
