What a story. I can understand how meaningful it would be to find out more.

Maude Chase's death record states she was born in Minnesota. So it seems likely that she and William married in Minnesota - if they married.

I've given you the death record, above, for both of them. I was looking at the transcription you see. I did not see the original death record. The original death record has more information. If you send for the original death record for William or Maude, it may say whether they were married. You don't have to pay anyone to search - since I already found the certificate number for you.

I still haven't found a marriage certificate.
