I need help because I'm not familiar with American genealogy (I'm a Finnish)

I'm trying to find a wedding date for Victor Toivonen (born in 1890 in Finland, move to USA in 1914) and his wife Mary Hongisto ( I have no information about Mary except I know she died before 1940) the had one daughter in 1919 so I would imagine they would have been married 1919 or before.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me, I know that they lived in Minnesota, but then again I'm not 100% sure that they were married in Minnesota. And if someone have any information about this Mary Hongisto (born in USA) I would be really thankfull.
