Have been searching for several years....
Can anyone help find more pieces and end this mystery....
Confirm any other marriages in NV, MN, WA, CA....
Lee Harold Nelson aka Robert Lee Nelson.....
CA Births: Lee Harold Nelson...21 AUG 1928 San Diego....Mom Maiden: White from TX.....
Bob aka Harold...He was known as Robert/Bob Nelson. On 1930 San Diego census as Bobbie Nelson, not with his family with neighbors. Mom had health issues.
--Bob seems to have vanished after approx 1957/58 from VA, he left his young son [Jay Lee Nelson] and 2nd wife.
--Divorced first wife....LaVon June Dunigan
--LaVon and Bob had a son Larry Lee Nelson in Feb 1947 AZ
--Larry Lee Nelson passed away Jul 2004 in CA
--Larry had made contact with his father.
--Bob/Harold and his current wife Susan Jane [Klukas] Goulet Nelson owned and operated Northern CA Fence Corp.
--Harold Lee Nelson born 21 Aug 1928 CA seems to have become Robert Lee Nelson born 21 Aug 1930 CA [sent for 2nd SSI application]
--Robert died 24 Oct 1974 San Mateo CA, Cardiac Arrest.
--Larry [Robert's son] found Bob just prior to 1974, stated that his dad was married to a woman with 2 children
--Neither Robert's nor Susan's obituary [2007 MN] state there were any children. {{JUST MORE MYSTERY}}
--Bob had family in CA/AZ/TX possibly others states in that area. His mother [Dorothy Irene (White) aka Grace] and father [Lee Olaf Nelson] both died in San Diego/Los Angeles area of CA.
--We did find his older sister in CA [she had tried to find him also], she has recently passed and his younger sister, Betty, passed away years ago in CA also.
--Found this Robert listed in a family tree by Longdo1...The tree has minimal info and has not been active for awhile. :(
Robert Lee Nelson b: 24 Aug 1930 San Diego [off by 2 years]
States he married: 1960 to a ______Klukas in Elko, Nevada
THIS MARRIAGE INFO COULD NOT BE CONFIRMED! :(
**Does anyone in the San Mateo /Foster City/ Redwood area have access to information that may add more details and clear up some of the questions??
Also his death certificate of states Robert Lee Nelson, died 24 Oct 1974 states he was only in CA for the past 2 years, but was in the fencing business for 6 years WHERE???....His current wife at the time of his death has links to WI, MN, WA
--Susan Jane Klukas [wife at time of Bob's death] born 1926 Chippewa Falls WI, 1930 census has family in Colfax WI, 1958 she divorces Chester E Goulet (died 1996, Burien WA) in Seattle WA, she died in St Paul MN 2007
