It looks like Fred Larson was born 12 May 1909, Adams township, Houghton County, Michigan. His parents were Victor Larson, a Swedish immigrant, and Alma Charlotte Nelson. The family lived in 1910 and 1920 census in Ericsburg, Rat Root Township, Koochiching, Minnesota (near International Falls). Victor and Alma had at least six children: Carl, Fred, Ellen, Florence, Warren, and Pearl (per online tree; doublecheck against census). Victor died in 1921,when Pearl was just two years old. Alma remarried and in 1930 she and the children are living in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Fred died 26 March, 2000, in Aledo, Mercer County, Illinois.
A family tree online says Victor Larson was born in Viken in Ånimskog parish, Älvsborg county (since 1998 part of Västra Götaland county), Dalsland province, Sweden. Viken was a small village by Lake Vänern. Victor’s parents were Lars Gustaf Nilsson and Anna Kajsa Petersdotter (per family tree online).
Alma’s parents were Lars Emanuel Nilsson (Americanized to Louis Emanuel Nelson) and Britta Maria Nilsdotter Burquist (called Marie). They came to America in 1882 from Mossfallet, Gustav Adolf, Värmlands län, Sweden. They moved to Nagaunee, Michigan, where Alma was born in 1887.

As usual - the information found online (and not in original records) should be checked.

I emailed you copies of the 1910, 1920, and 1930 census.
