Rhoda Wood b.16 May 1796 married Jacob Weed (b. 10 August 1784) Pound Ridge,Westchester, New York 1 January 1815. Who are their parents? Believe the connection for Rhoda is Daniel Wood/Sarah Avery. Rhoda and Jacob had a son, Daniel Weed/wife,Sari Ann Coon in Illinois. Sari Ann d. May 15, 1850 after giving birth to Royal Octavus Weed b. May 6, 1850 Whiteside County, Illinois.
Royal married Ellena Reynolds before the Justice of the Peace, Marathon County, Wisconsin October 14, 1871. They divorced March 1884, Wisconsin. July 8, 1884 Elena Reynolds Weed marries Joseph Pero, Stevens Point, Portage County, Wisconsin and seems to disappear. Odd, but one of the subscribing witnesses of their marriage before a Justice of the Peace, is ROYAL WEED. What happened here? Three of Ellena's small children by Royal show-up, grow-up and die in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Then she herself dies January, 15, 1924 as Ellena Redmond. Another marriage?
