I already sent you this: Emigranten Populär, 1783-1951 Swedish Emigration Records, 1783-1951 Name: John A Dansare Birth Year: abt 1867 Gender: Man (Male) Place of Origin: Amerika Destination: Braddocks Record Date: 3 jan 1890 ****** Port of Departure: Göteborg Database Name: EmiHamn Archive Call Number: 41:1:2053 Principal Person: Dansare John A Appears the man that traveled in 1890 used John A. Dansare when he left Sweden... I enlarged the film image of the original 1890 NY immg record and the index is 'wrong'. He is listed as John A. Dansare, 23, male, bn Sweden on the original New york passenger list. BUT..I forgot to add Noted at the top of the page he is listed on states 'From Liverpool'....so appears he left Sweden and went to England and then to New York (USA). Arriving in New York on 21 Jan 1890. Would the name Dansare, when spoken, sound like Dancer to someone in the US??? Marsha Notify Administrator about this message?
