If they were still living in 1925, the Iowa State Census will provide where they married (state or country, if I recall correctly) and also will provide the names of their parents, including their mother's maiden name.

If they had died by 1925, there isn't a problem because the information for their children will also provide that information about the place of marriage of their parents.

The 1925 Iowa State Census is superb in its useful details. It is at least partially online at the fee-based Ancestry.com site. The census covers several pages for each individual, so when you find them, be sure to continue turning pages.
