Lake Park is in Becker county, Minnesota. And I found Nels Paulis Westgard in Becker county.
I did a google search and found a page that shows the same Nils Paulus, Americanized name to Nels Paulis Westgard.

It shows a wife, and even some living descendants. Mary Christina Anderson must have been the last wife. She died just a few years before him.
The records don't match yours exactly. Dates are close.
