Thanks again, Taryn. I'm living in Australia, so I'm sticking to internet research at this point!

I'm mostly interested in Loftur and Adalbjorg before they got to Lyon county, as they remained there the rest of their lives and are buried there--the family records and myths contain some contradictory info about Loftur's earlier life, and that's what I'm after.

Halfdan saw my posting on the Iceland forum and said he had some info for me, so I'm eagerly awaiting that.
