Greetings -

My maternal grandfather was listed as Chas. H. Sherar on my mother's birth certificate. I assume that Chas. is an abbreviation for Charles (how much shorter is that, really? :-).

Charles was a farmer. Born 1896 in Quebec, Canada. He married my grandmother who was from Wisconsin, US. In 1924 they lived in Stillwater, Minnesota, US.

That is all the info I have on Charles. Any relatives out there?

I am researching my french roots. Anybody care to contribute?
