In the 1920 US census, the 53-year-old widow Ingri Nelson is living in Greenbush MN with her aged parents and her sons Harrold and Ludwig. The name is spelled “Nelson” in the index and the entry.

Her father is indexed as Rittle H. Greve. One of her brothers, living a short distance away, is indexed as Kittle K. Greve. In both cases the name in the original schedule is Grivi. Her brother Erik is indexed as Grivi. The whole Grivi family came to the US in 1883. The name of Ingri’s mother is perhaps Aalvig. A person familiar with Norwegian given names could read it easily.
