Hi Ann,

HAHAHAHA I'm not that good, or that fast. Some of the information I received from other Crider/Collins/Goble researchers. Once received, I attempt to verify.

Alot of it is from spending hundreds of hours in front of the computer going through county census's page by page and line by line. I've often wished for a DSL or cable hookup, but I am on dial-up.

Originally I printed each census page that listed anyone in my data base. After I filled up a file drawer, I decided just to enter the information directly into my data base. Nowadays, I just print the ones that I know must link in, but I dont have the specific link yet, that way, I have the information when I find the link, instead of having to go through that census again. I've learned by trial and error. Some counties I've gone through 2 or 3 times because I didn't know that xxx name was also related at that time. When you're going through a 200 census page county for the second or third time, you learn to take notes real fast! Another valuable source is rootsweb.com. They have archives that have helped me a lot!

Anyhow, glad I could help. By the way.. Cora B. would be my 1st cousin, 3 times removed :)

Good Hunting!
Jeanie
