Hi Ann, I looked through the census images on ancestry.com. Floyd Co., KY in 1870 had 211 census pages, film # is M593_461. By the way, I also show a Marion Crider (24) in Eagle Valley, Todd Co., MN in 1880 with with Elizabeth (16) and daughter Etta Jane (1). I'm not sure how they connect in, but I'm willing to bet they do! My line is as follows: William Crider/Elizabeth Vaughan Crider -> William Wesley Crider/Martha Goble Crider -> Sarah Lucretia Crider/Alva W. Gray Sarah and Alva were my Grandparents. Sarah dropped her first name and was married as Lucretia Crider. About 1920, she changed her name to Bessie for some reason. I know it is the same person because on the census it says Lucretia Gray. There is a single line drawn through the Lucretia and Bessie is written above it. I was really at a dead-end until I found that. We all knew her as Bessie. How are you related to the family?
