I too am related to Darby McGannon. I have some information on him but I would love to learn more. Darby's son Hugh lived in Jennings Co. until at least 1840 (he is listed in the 1840 census as McGammon). He next shows up in Clay Co. Illinois in 1860 (also listed as McGammon).
I don't know where he was in 1850 or when he moved. In 1883 he and family moved to Okobojo S.D. with the Green Family.
any info would be appreciated!
