The name "Rose Lake" caught my attention. I am researching my Rose family. Judge Jesse Rose came to Martin Co. in 1879 from Mower Co. Wife was Louisa Jane (Stowe) Rose. I think he still had two sons in Martin Co. when he died, Joseph Rose and Henry Rose. Does any of this ring a bell? I think he died in 1899.
