Marshall County MN published a "History of Families" in 1979 and the Manley Shaw Family was included. The history was written by his daughter Luella lists Manley Shaw as one of the early pioneers of Marshall Co. I am related through Mrs. Manley (Altha Van Ornum) Shaw. They married in 1902 and raised a family of 3 daughters and 2 sons. Anyone connected to this line? Besides the above mentioned Louella there was Mrs. Myrtle (Frank) Umberger. Manley Shaw was born 1876 near Welcome, MN, but he and his family were enumerated in the 1880 census living in Fox Lake, Martin Co., MN. Parents: Samuel and Josephine Shaw with siblings Abby June, Savina (Female), Edwin E., Kittie M., Frederick H., Samuel C., Manley J. and Clara J.
