I am looking for information on Lewis S. and Sarepta (Preston) Smith who brought their family to Ottawa, MN, in 1857.
In 1862, at the time of the Sioux Uprising they returned to Muncie, IN.
In 1866 they returned to Minnesota with other family members.
Their son, George Ribble Smith died on February 7, 1928, in Minneapolis. He is buried at the Mound Cemetery of Le Sueur. His first wife was Emily. His second wife was Florance. Emily is buried at Deer Creek, MN. Her maiden name is unknown.
