I dont know if this will help you but here goes.I often heard my Grandfather George Vashaw and my father Kenneth Vashaw talk about Walter and Jhon Vashaw if they are the same ones i dont know.My Father was born in Mich.I dont know about my Grandfather except that he was the oldest and he took care of his brothers and sisters and that two of his sisters were left to the care of other people because he could no longer take care of them.My father Kenneth/his brother Alden and his sister Utaley were raised in Duluth Minn.My Grandmothers maiden name was Gerkhe( spelling?)
