It has been family lore for generations that an ancestor, Marie Gustafva Lomell (1837-ca 1920)and first husband Peter Lomell ran a boarding housein Isanti county (in Stanchfield?) in which the Jesse James gang supposedly stayed. After Peter's death in 1882, Marie remarried to Martin Johnson. Anyone have any further information on this family?
