My husbands ancestor William Edward Cooper was in New York on the 1850 census. From there he moved to Black Hammer Township, Houston County, Minnesota ca 1870-1880. His son, my husbands great grandfather, was Silas Jackson Cooper, born in Onondaga County, New York, later moved and married in Johnson County, Arkansas. Does anyone have Cooper information or relatives from this family?
