Diana: I grew up in Caledonia. No Seuffert hardware, but the Danahers ran a hardware store up into the 1980s. It was a new structure, probably built around 1965. The History OF Houston County has a great bio on Henry C. Seuffert with loads of genealogical info on his children (including Adolph). In 1895, Adolph bought out A.J. Flynn and conducted his hardware and tinsmith building in the store known as the "Red Front Hardware Store." As I recall, the Flynn building is still standing on Main street, very near to where my dad his grocery store. Email if you don't have the Henry Seuffert bio.
Best, John
