Look under the name CHAGNON. "We are trying to find the genealogy of Josephine Chagnon who was born in Fond du Lac, WI around 1872 {according to her marriage certificate). Her marriage cert. indicates that her parents were Ellie Chagnon b. 1848 and mother Philomene LEDUC b. 1851. Pictures of her suggest that she may have been a Native American Indian.
