My I know the all of the names that you mention. I remember Daisy very well and she spoke of your parents. Daisy was my great aunt. There were 7 children in that family! My grandfather was the youngest; his name was William Fred Backen. I have a photograph of the entire family--it looks like my grandfather was about 4 in the photo. I remember lots of stories about "Birdie" and the "Wiggins." I also remember Daisy talking about Darlene on MANY occasions. I especially remember a story about Darlene (I think) stabbing DeWane with a fork! I am not sure if it is true but it entertained little children like us!

Please email me.

I am from Brainerd but we now live in Arizona.

PS They were not Swedish. They are Danish and Norwegian. However, my grandmother was Swedish but she only married into this family. :)
