George Franklin PRATT - Springfield,Cottonwood,MN

Michael, I have been researching "Frank" Pratt, who I believed was named George
Franklin PRATT after his father, who I believe is the one who was "murdered" in
1878, but thought it was in Jackson County.
Frank appears in the 1910 census in Spfld,Cottonwood,MN at age 39. He appears
in the 1920 census (same location) as Geo. F PRATT age 49, and in the 1930
census, he is back to Frank "G" PRATT age 59. If you could provide any info on
this "black sheep" family, I'd certainly appreciate it. Would there be a newspaper article on the murder of his father?
The senior Geo. F PRATT was believed to have been born in VT, but have seen
MA used in Frank's census info. He was such a deceitful person, that I don't believe even his children knew much about him. I'm looking for info on the Geo,Sr.
Any info much appreciated.
Cathie in FL
