KOSSICK from Moorhead

Hi,

I'm looking for information on Joseph KOSSICK, b. 1863 in Kupp, Germany (now Poland). He emigrated from Hamburg through NYC in 1886. I believe his first wife's name was Julia SALGA, they had two
children - Leo b. 1889 and Helen b. 1895. Second wife was Elizabeth VEITH b. in Pierce, Morrison Co. MN, they had six children - John b. 1902, Clara b. 1905, Dorothy b. 1908, Rose b. 1910, Alexander b. 1911 and Lucille b. 1912 (names and dates taken from Joseph's naturalization paperwork, which he didn't fill out until 1919. He obtained citizenship in 1921 in Clay County).

On that paperwork, he wrote that he was a "Section Foreman". That sounds like a railroad job, but could anyone tell me if they recognize the job title?

I've only got bits and pieces of info. I have more information on Helen, she was my grandmother.

Thanks,

Liz
