News was received here yesterday that Mrs. Fred Drews of Minneapolis was drowned while canoeing with a friend on Lake Harriet, Monday night. The body was found Tuesday afternoon and was identified by her husband who knew nothing of the accident until he read it in the papers. Fred is on the fire department and was on duty when the accident happened. Mrs. Drews was a daughter of Mrs. And Mortenson of Harris and a sister-in-law of Mrs. Earl Rush of this place. She leaves two children 3 and 5 years old.
