Scott, as indicated above, I am one of the Schlumpbergers who originated in Brown Township. My Father was Frank X Schlumpberger and My grandfather had the same name. His father, my great grandfather, John) was married to Agatha Rohner and had I believe 12 or 13 children. I have a somewhat complete listing of the family through the 3rd generation and the complete listing of my father's decendents. I also have a listing of the family from about 1438 through the present which I got when we went to a couple of reunions in Germany. These are held each 5 years since 1988 and all Schlumpbergers worldwide are invited. I can give you more information if you want.
I also met Wilfred Schneider at the family reunion. He is from Canada and has done a book on the Schneider family of which I have a copy. You may be aware of Wilfred's work. He spent a long time researching both here and in Austria.
Let me know if you have any interest in pursuing any of the data which I have.
