I am looking for the descendents of John Egan, immigrant from Ireland. Born 24 jun 1860 in County Sliga to Thomas & Ellen (Durkin) Egan, He had a brother Thomas Egan; and three sisters, Mary Fleming, Delia Casey, and Ellen Fleming. He was a resident of the Detriot Lakes, Becker Co., Minn.
for 51 years.
He married Katherine Cafferty
(b. 24 nov. 1866 in Charlestown, County Sliga, Ireland...came to the US at age 18...she died Detroit
Lakes, Minn. age 76--1936)
They married 02 dec 1888, Detriot Lakes, Becker Co.,Minn.
10 children: Thomas(Chicago-1936), James (Wabasha,Wis-1936), Jack (Bend,Ore.-1936), William (Henning, Minn.-1936)and, Martin, Edward, George, Fred, Mamie, Katherine (m. Elmer Turnball; all of Detroit Lakes, Becker Co., Minn.
