Looking for more info on Thomas B. Miser
Aha....a pleasure to have others to search with. I too have the Meiser (etc) Geneology
book from Ohio....BUT...It only mentions great-grandfather and grandfather (Thomas B. Miser and son George William Miser).
Thomas was son of William I.Where did Thomas grow up??He studied medicine in Ohio (Mount Vernon) , did 1864-65 with Ohio 29th in Civil War....and then what??
He settled near Martinsburg...I would like more info on his life and photos if any.
My grandfather, George W., lived in Martinsburg....mother died and Thom. remarried....2 step-sibs....where did he do prep or high school or college.....He did medical school in Chicago in 1896....Thom. died before Geo. finished. George went to Iowa.....does anyone know whether he went directly from Chgo or did he return to Martinsburg to step mother he alledgedly did'nt care for???I have lots from the Iowa point on.....Are there any other relations out there who stem from William I. Miser who might be able to provide me with the information, or direct to other source.
