Excellent! When you have a chance, go to the FTDNA site and click on the Haplotree tab under Y-DNA. Then click on the My Matches tab. That will give you the more distant ancestral origins--many, many moons ago. I found some interesting results in mine. Also, take a look at your migration map on the Y-Haplotree tab. Be sure and post your results up to Ysearch from FTDNA. You will begin to see the many benefits of the testing. Finally, but maybe most interesting, post your results up to the National Geographic Genographic project: https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/genographic/index.html
That will take you back to the beginning, 60,000 years ago. I found a Mezel commune in Greeece and a Mezel town in Southern France. Let me know if you have trouble finding them. Have fun with your DNA results. Which marker test did you take?
