Jerald Mizell
September 4, 1940 -- August 10, 2006
DUMAS — Jerald Lewis Mizell, 66, of Dumas, Arkansas, died Thursday, August 10.
He was born Sept. 4, 1940, at Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of the late Eugene Elton Mizell and Dona Rose Cates Mizell.
He was a farmer.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church at Gould, Arkansas.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Effie Mizell; one son, Lewis Mizell; two brothers, John Mizell and Kenneth Mizell; and one sister, Ona Mae Oliver.
Survivors include one son, Gary Mizell of Watson, Arkansas; two daughters, Janet Selvey of Star City, Arkansas, and Tracy Cessor of Dumas, Arkansas; four brothers, Lee Mizell of Gould, Ronnie Mizell and Dale Mizell, both of Dumas and Willard Mizell of Kansas; two sisters, Bobbie Wyles of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Robbie Mosely of Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Hale officiating. Burial was in Walnut Lake Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas.
