I am hoping Shirley Swisher will see this since she seems to be so much about the Mizells. My great grandmother is Sara Furlong who married Rufus Mizell and when Rufus died, Sara (Sally) married Jim Evans, Shelby County Tn. This is really all I know about her. I found her on the 1880 census living in Memphis with her two children, Hortense Howard Lee Mizell (my grandmother), and William Angelo Mizell, her brother. Thanks for anything you can give me.
