Mary Mizell was married to John McCue and lived in Alabama in 1875 when my grandfather was born. My grandfather left home in 1890 and joined the army virtually never to mention his parents again. His father immigrated from Ireland and his mother, Mary apparently was born in Alabama, don't know the city.
Does a Mary Mizell who lived in Alabama in 1875 sound familiar to anyone? I have lots of family history on both sides that go back to the 1500s but absolutely nothing on my maternal grandmother or grandfather.
