Steve, et. al., A few years ago I noticed an obsure reference to a Joseph Mesel on the internet, but I have lost it since. Could he be the second brother? :) There are two other individuals that I would like to know the story on, they may be related or not. The first is a Mazel who was at the Mannikin town settlement in Virginia. I think this might be Joseph Mesel. http://www.huguenot-manakin.org/founders.htm The second is a Jean Mézel who settled in South Africa. http://sa-passenger-list.za.net/huguenotsettlers.php I know you haven't heard from me in a while but I haven't forgotton about the Genetic Genealogy thing. I plan to get to it soon. I'm easily distractable. I live in Fort Worth now, I transfered within my company. Another topic I hope to research one day is as I mentioned before the possible link to the town called Mezel near Clermont. On a French map site it says there was a family by that name there as early as the 12th century. http://www.quid.fr/communes.html?mode=detail&id=4234&req=mez&style=fiche Thanks, Van Notify Administrator about this message?
